"I usually model my sculptures in clay but occasionally in plaster, working from photographs and drawings of the subject. If it is possible, I like to have one or more life sittings with the subject as this injects more spontaneity into the final sculpture.The bronze sculpture is then made by the 'lost wax' process."

Anne Smith has been a professional artist since 1998 specialising in bronze sculpture. She has exhibited widely in the UK and has undertaken numerous commissions with work in several public and private collections.
