"My work is predominantly focused on the nature of forms changing under different weather and light conditions. There's a degree of abstraction in my paintings that wrestles with my instincts as a figurative artist. Retaining a looseness of brushwork that can intimate rather than dictate. I paint pictures that inspire me, and bring me, and hopefully others pleasure. This may be why I have such an extravagant palette and diversity of styles and subject matter."
